In KY, and school districts across the country , preventing students from using vaping devices has been a battle. Rockcastle County SD leaders are rolling out new resources to keep the health of students a top priority. “A lot of folks think it’s just water vapor, but that’s not the case. Vapes do contain chemicals that are harmful to your health, according to the FDA. We want everybody to be aware of that, and that they’re addictive,” The district is ready to roll out the new resources coming from House Bill 142, “that does require school districts to confiscate a device if it’s found on school grounds, and also provide cessation materials for students”.
