A proposed bill would change punishments for those underage attempting to purchase or possessing tobacco or vape products and prohibit marketing and advertising of these products from using specific words or images thought to be appealing to minors. Sgt. Robert Grant with the Calera Police Department says, “this is a large contributor to the amount of vape products in America’s schools”.
